This workshop will talk about the various strategies of reading large amounts of literature, such as skimming, scanning, concept mapping etc.. You will learn how to take notes. You will consider the significance of the work and its purpose and address questions such as 'Is the scientific argument presented valid? Is it persuasive? Are there biases or flaws in the method used?' etc.. If you wish to improve your critical reading skills, this is the workshop for you.
